Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.4.5.1.1 - Identify materials used in making simple agricultural tools.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least five simple agricultural tools used in their community and describe what each tool is used for.
- Identify and list the specific materials (wood, metal, rope, bamboo, animal skin, nails, etc.) used to make each of those tools.
- Explain how the different parts of a simple agricultural tool are connected or fixed together.
- Draw and label a simple agricultural tool, showing the materials used for each part.
- Sort a given list of materials into categories (wood, metal, plant fibre, animal product) and justify which tools can be made from them.
