Indicator: B9.3.4.1.1 - List and explain the different plant and animal waste used in preparing different types of manure
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- List at least six different types of manure used by farmers in Ghana.
- Identify and state the sources of materials used in preparing manure (plant wastes and animal wastes).
- Categorise given manures into those from plant wastes and those from animal wastes.
- Compile a list of plant parts/wastes and animal parts/wastes used for manure preparation.
- Justify the choice of a particular manure type under different soil and climatic conditions.
