Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)

1. Show pictures or video clips to learners on a) a community which has experienced religious tolerance and b) a community, which has experienced religious intolerance. Such pictures and videos are available on the internet.
2. From the pictures or video clips learners discuss characteristics of the two communities.
Characteristics of a tolerant community, e.g.
Peaceful relationship among members
Development in unity
Inter-religious marriages
Characteristics of an intolerant community, e.g.
Quarrels and mistrust among members
