Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.2.3.1.3 - Apply movement concepts, principles, and strategies to perform beginning-intermediate level individual and target sports (e.g., local archery.)
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate the correct basic stance, hold, draw, and release sequence in local archery using adapted equipment.
- Apply movement concepts such as balance, alignment, focus, and follow-through to improve accuracy in target sports.
- Identify and practise safety rules and adapted rules that make individual and target sports inclusive for all learners.
- Organise and participate in a mini target-sport competition, showing confidence, collaboration, and fair play.
- Record an estimate of their performance duration and scores in their self-journal to track their physical activity involvement.
