E.g.1 State the Laws of Indices. For real numbers m, n and valid bases a, b, the following basic laws hold
i. Law1: a m × a n = a (m+n)
ii. Law 2: a m = a (m-n) a n
For applying the above Law, if we choose both m = 1 and n = 1, then we get: a 1 = a (1-1) = a 0 = 1
