Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.2.1.3.1

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify and name at least three traditional rhythmic gymnastics movements from Ghana (e.g., synchronised adowa, agbadza) and one global rhythmic gymnastics movement.
  2. Demonstrate a short sequence combining traditional and global rhythmic gymnastics movements with accuracy and rhythm.
  3. Perform a synchronised routine in small groups, coordinating movements with peers to a steady beat.
  4. Record the estimated duration of their group performance in a self-journal.
  5. Explain how adapting traditional movements through rhythm, speed, or formation expresses cultural identity.
