Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)
- Review previous lesson on mixtures with learners. - Learners watch videos and pictures of different types of mixtures. - Provide samples of materials and guide learners to produce mixtures such as salt solution, sugar solution, concrete, sand and water. - In groups, learners investigate the daily uses and applications of mixtures, e.g. salt solution, sugar solution, concrete, gari and beans. - Engage learners to write the names of the components of the mixtures stated. - Learners mention other examples of mixtures and their daily uses.
