E.g. 1 Learners read the chart sequentially forwards and backwards, vertically (up and down), zig-zag, diagonally and randomly without pointing to the numbers. Invite 2-3 learners to read to the class. Call a Roman numeral and ask learners to write E.g. 2 Give learners a numeral in the Hindu Arabic system and have learners convert to roman numeration and vice versa for instance XXIV = 24
