- In groups learners observe containers of dirty water and clean water. - Show pictures or videos of people suffering from diarrhoea, cholera, and typhoid. - Ask learners to identify which sample of water (dirty or clean), is likely to contain microorganisms that cause diseases. - Let learners discuss how they will prevent themselves from contracting water-borne diseases (boiling water, filtering water, etc.). - Let learners create posters, compose songs or rhymes on how to prevent water- borne diseases.
