Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.1.1.1.1 - Use number names, counting sequences and how to count to find out “how many?”
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Count forwards by 1s, 2s, and 10s between any two given numbers from 0 to 100.
- Count backwards by 1s from a given number between 0 and 100.
- Count up to 100 objects arranged in a line, grid, or circle and answer “how many?” correctly.
- Show that the number of objects in a group stays the same no matter how the objects are arranged or counted.
- Estimate the number of objects in a group up to 100, compare estimates, and justify which estimate is most reasonable.
