Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.4.5.1.4 - Copy various sentences, verses and words of songs legibly (writing should be bold and clear)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Copy a given verse of a familiar song word for word without omitting or adding any words.
Form each letter clearly and boldly, keeping letters evenly spaced within words and words evenly spaced within sentences.
Use capital letters at the beginning of sentences and full stops at the end when copying.
Check their own copied work against the original to confirm accuracy and legibility.
Take turns to read aloud a copied verse so a partner can verify it matches the original.
