Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.4.1.1.4 - Demonstrate knowledge and skills in copying words and numerals previously read in class, with appropriate combinations and joints.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Copy the list of previously read words correctly, joining letters appropriately in both connected and disconnected forms.
  2. Add at least three new words of their own to the given word list, applying the same letter-joining rules.
  3. Copy Arabic-Indic numerals (١ to ١٠٠) accurately from the board or textbook.
  4. Demonstrate correct handling of letter joints when copying, identifying which letters connect to the next letter and which do not.
  5. Produce a neat, legible handwritten copy of both words and numbers that can be read back by a peer.
