Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.2.1.1.1 - Identify the types of worship in the three major religions
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define worship in their own words, using at least one example from their daily experience.
- Identify at least two types of worship (private and congregational) and give one example of each from any of the three major religions in Ghana.
- Classify descriptions or pictures of worship practices into the correct religion: Christianity, Islam, or Indigenous African Religions.
- Distinguish between private worship and congregational worship, citing one Ghanaian example of each.
- Work cooperatively in mixed ability groups to dramatise a type of worship from one of the three major religions, respecting the beliefs of others.
