Indicator: B3.2.3.1.1 - Use common rhyming/endings words for decoding of words
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the rhyming ending in a given word family (e.g., -in, -at, -og) and say it aloud.
- Form new words by changing the beginning letter of a known rhyming word (e.g., pin becomes sin, fin, win).
- Read aloud a list of rhyming words from the same word family with accuracy.
- Sort a set of given words into groups according to their rhyming endings.
- Construct simple sentences using rhyming words from the same word family.
