Learning Objectives
Indicator: B3.2.3.1.2 - Use words containing digraphs to make meaningful sentences
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the digraphs sh, ch, gh, and ph in given words and read those words aloud correctly.
- Build at least five new words for each of the digraphs sh, ch, gh, and ph using known letter sounds.
- Use words containing the digraphs sh, ch, gh, and ph to form complete, meaningful sentences of their own.
- Read aloud a short passage containing words with the target digraphs with accuracy and understanding.
- Sort a list of given words into groups according to their digraph sounds.
