Indicator: B1.1.1.1.1 - Explain that history deals with past human activities
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Mention at least one activity they witnessed on their first day at school.
- Identify at least two activities performed in the past which are no longer performed today.
- List at least three past events they have personally witnessed.
- Explain in their own words that activities performed in the past qualify as history.
- Sing a song or recite a rhyme about a past activity.

Enquiry route: What event did you witness on your first day at school? Which people took part in the event? 1. Mention the activity they witnessed on their first day at school 2. Identify any activity performed in the past which has not been performed again 3. List any past events they have witnessed 4. Explain that since those activities were performed in the past, they qualify to be called history 5. Learners sing a song, recite a rhyme or watch a documentary of any past activity.
