Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.6.2.1.1 - Identify the address or links window.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the address window (also called the address bar) on a web browser on phones, tablets, laptops and other electronic gadgets.
- Locate the address window on at least three different browsers (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Opera) and name its position on the screen.
- State the function of the address window as the place where web addresses (URLs) are typed.
- Distinguish the address window from other parts of the browser window such as the tabs, back and forward buttons, and refresh button.
- Type a simple web address into the address window correctly and press Enter or Go to load a page.
