Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.6.2.1.3 - Illustrate using help button.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Locate and identify the help button in a web browser (such as the question mark icon or “Help” menu) and explain its purpose.
Use the help button to search for the steps involved in an unfamiliar browser activity.
Follow the steps shown in the help section to complete a simple task they have not done before.
Describe how the help button gives answers to questions about using the browser, without needing to ask a teacher or friend.
Apply this self-directed approach to learning new tasks in other software, building a habit of exploring help sections first.
