Learning Objectives

Indicator: K1.6.3.1.6 - Describe the position of objects.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Point to an object and say whether it is first, second, third, fourth, or fifth in a line.
  2. Arrange five objects in a row and describe the position of each object starting from the left.
  3. Identify and state the position of a given number on a number grid (first row, first box, etc.).
  4. Use words such as “first”, “second”, “third”, “fourth”, and “fifth” correctly when talking about water-related objects in the classroom.
  5. Answer simple questions like “Which one is third?” by pointing and naming the object correctly.
