Indicator: B3.2.6.1.1 - Read level-appropriate sight words, understand and use them in meaningful complex sentences
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read at least 10 level-appropriate sight words aloud with accuracy and confidence.
- State the meaning of each sight word in their own words.
- Use each sight word correctly in a complex sentence (a sentence with more than one idea or clause).
- Identify sight words within a short passage and explain how they help the text make sense.
- Work in groups to create and present 3 complex sentences using given sight words.
