Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.3.5.1.3 - Use different forms of verbs: irregular, infinitive to talk about personal activities
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify irregular verbs in given sentences and state their past tense forms correctly (e.g., go became went, see became saw).
- Form the infinitive of verbs by placing “to” before the base form (e.g., to read, to play, to cook).
- Use the infinitive form of verbs to talk about their own personal activities in complete sentences.
- Write at least three sentences that combine irregular past tense verbs and infinitive forms correctly.
- Correct errors involving the misuse of irregular verb forms and infinitives in short passages.
