By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the imperative form of verbs in spoken and written sentences.
  2. Use the imperative form of verbs to give clear commands or orders in classroom and everyday situations.
  3. Use the imperative form of verbs to make polite suggestions to peers and family members.
  4. Distinguish between a command (a firm order) and a suggestion (a polite offer of an idea) based on tone and wording.
  5. Respond appropriately to commands and suggestions given by others in pair and group activities.
