Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.3.5.1.3 - Use the simple present form of verbs in sentences
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the simple present form of verbs in given sentences and state what each one expresses (habit, fact, or scheduled event).
- Use the simple present form of verbs to talk about their own habitual actions, such as morning routines.
- Complete sentences with the correct simple present form of verbs for timeless and universal truths.
- Use the simple present form of verbs to describe scheduled future actions, such as events on a school timetable.
- Write four original sentences showing different uses of the simple present form: one for a habit, one for a universal truth, one for a fact that holds true, and one for a scheduled future event.
