Indicator: B3.5.7.1.1 - Identify prepositions in sentences to indicate directions and means, e.g. by bus
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify prepositions that show means (by, through, with) in given sentences.
- Identify prepositions that show direction (up, down, along, across, towards) in given sentences.
- Explain the difference between a preposition of means and a preposition of direction in their own words.
- Complete sentences with the correct preposition to show either means or direction.
- Use at least one preposition of means and one preposition of direction in their own original sentences.
