Indicator: B2.5.7.1.1 - Identify prepositions in sentences to indicate days, dates and places
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the prepositions “in” and “on” in given sentences about days, dates and places.
- Use “on” correctly before days of the week and specific dates.
- Use “in” correctly before places such as classrooms, homes and towns.
- Complete sentences by choosing the correct preposition, “in” or “on”, for days, dates and places.
- Sort given words and phrases into two groups: those that go with “on” and those that go with “in”.
