Indicator: B2.5.7.1.1 - Identify prepositions in sentences to indicate days, dates and places

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the prepositions “in” and “on” in given sentences about days, dates and places.
  2. Use “on” correctly before days of the week and specific dates.
  3. Use “in” correctly before places such as classrooms, homes and towns.
  4. Complete sentences by choosing the correct preposition, “in” or “on”, for days, dates and places.
  5. Sort given words and phrases into two groups: those that go with “on” and those that go with “in”.
