Indicator: B2.5.9.1.2 - Identify nouns and verbs in simple sentences
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the noun (the person, animal, place or thing) in a simple sentence when asked “Who or what is the sentence about?”
- Identify the verb (the action word) in a simple sentence when asked “What did the person or thing do?”
- Sort a list of words into nouns and verbs correctly.
- Underline nouns and circle verbs in simple sentences with at least 80% accuracy.
- Create their own simple sentences and identify the noun and verb in each one.
