Indicator: B3.5.6.1.1 - Identify qualifying words

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define an adverb as a word that qualifies or describes an action (verb).
Identify common adverbs in given sentences and underline or point them out correctly.
Explain what the adverb tells us about the verb in a sentence (how, when, or where the action happens).
Contribute at least two new adverbs of their own during class discussion and use them in simple sentences.
Work with a partner to find adverbs in a short passage and share their findings with the class.
