Indicator: B4.5.5.1.1 - Use adjectives to make comparisons

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  • Identify comparative adjectives in given sentences and short passages.
  • Form the comparative form of common adjectives by adding -er or using “more”.
  • Use “than” correctly when making comparisons between two people, places or things.
  • Write their own sentences comparing two things using comparative adjectives.
  • Distinguish between the base form of an adjective and its comparative form.
