- Identify commas used to separate items in a list within a given sentence.
- State the rule for using commas when listing three or more items.
- Insert commas correctly in sentences that contain lists of items.
- Write their own sentences that list three or more items with commas placed correctly.
- Read aloud a list sentence with appropriate pauses where commas appear.
