Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.6.5.1.5 - Discuss more about security on the form submission.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least three security risks associated with submitting personal information through online forms.
- Explain why antivirus software, strong passwords, and caution with credit card details are important when filling forms online.
- Recognise signs of an insecure or suspicious online form (such as missing “https” or requests for unnecessary personal details).
- Demonstrate safe practices for submitting forms, including checking the website address and avoiding public computers for sensitive information.
- Discuss with a partner what to do if they suspect their personal details have been compromised online.
