Identify nouns and noun phrases in given sentences that describe conditions such as weather, health, moods, and states of being.
Explain what a noun phrase is and how it functions to describe a condition.
Construct their own noun phrases to describe conditions in both written and spoken sentences.
Use noun phrases appropriately to describe conditions in a short paragraph about a familiar situation.
