Indicator: B6.5.3.1.1 - Identify and use nouns or noun phrases to describe conditions.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify nouns and noun phrases in given sentences that describe conditions such as weather, health, moods, and states of being.
  2. Explain what a noun phrase is and how it functions to describe a condition.
  3. Construct their own noun phrases to describe conditions in both written and spoken sentences.
  4. Use noun phrases appropriately to describe conditions in a short paragraph about a familiar situation.
