By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify names of particular places and days of the week in a given text.
Explain why certain words in a sentence begin with capital letters, specifically names of places and days of the week.
Compare the initial letters of names of places and days of the week with other common names and state the difference.
Rewrite a given text, correcting the capital letters for names of particular places and days of the week.
Write at least three sentences of their own that correctly use capital letters for names of places and days of the week.
