Indicator: B1.5.1.1.3 - Use capital letters to write other proper nouns
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify proper nouns that name towns, places, schools, and landmarks in their community.
- Write the names of at least five familiar towns and places with capital letters at the beginning.
- Correct sentences by capitalizing proper nouns that name specific places.
- Write two short sentences of their own, each containing a proper noun for a place, using capital letters correctly.
- Explain why proper nouns for places must begin with capital letters.
