Indicator: B4.5.4.1.3 - Use the present perfect form of verbs to relate past events to the present

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  • Identify the present perfect form of verbs (has/have + past participle) in given sentences.
  • Change simple past sentences into present perfect sentences correctly.
  • Write two or three sentences using the present perfect form to talk about past events that connect to the present.
  • Work in pairs to plan a weekend activity and write it using the present perfect form to show what has been done so far.
  • Edit their own and peers’ written work for correct use of has/have with past participles.
