Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.5.4.1.2 - Use the present continuous form of verbs to describe actions taking place at the time of speaking

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Form the present continuous tense of given action words by adding “ing” and using the correct form of “to be” (am, is, are).
  2. Use the present continuous form of verbs to describe actions happening at the moment of speaking in at least three complete sentences.
  3. Write simple sentences about actions shown in pictures using the present continuous form correctly.
  4. Ask and answer questions about actions taking place now, using the present continuous form in short dialogues.
