Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.6.7.1.5

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Name at least four objects that are made out of clay soil, such as pots, bowls, bricks, and water containers.
  2. Draw at least four items that are made out of clay soil with clear shapes and outlines.
  3. Colour their drawings neatly using appropriate colours, showing care and attention to detail.
  4. Talk about their drawings with the class, explaining what each item is and how clay soil is used to make it.
  5. Appreciate the work of their peers by looking at displayed drawings and sharing positive comments.

* Allow each learner to share his ideas on what he/she has drawn. E.g. clay for building, pot, loamy soil for gardening, sand for building blocks.
