Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.1.1.1.6 - Brainstorm and generate ideas for creating own visual artworks that will reflect topical issues in some communities in the world

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

identify at least three topical issues of much concern in communities around the world from research conducted using available OERs.
document findings on selected topical issues in the form of notes, statements or downloaded images for class discussion.
participate in a class discussion and peer review, giving and receiving feedback on the topical issues presented.
generate at least two original concepts for their own visual artworks that reflect a chosen topical issue from anywhere in the world.
present their brainstormed ideas clearly, explaining how each idea connects to the topical issue and the community affected.

- document results of findings in the forms of notes, statements, downloads and recordings for presentations and class discussions;
- reflect on feedback from class discussions and peer reviews to generate concepts for designing and making own artworks that will reflect current topical issues of much concern in the world.
