Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.5.6.LI.3 - Discuss ways in which the youth can be empowered to contribute to the development of their communities
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain the meaning of youth empowerment and how it connects to national development.
- Identify at least five concrete ways the youth can be empowered to contribute to community development in Ghana.
- Evaluate which empowerment strategies are most practical in their own district or region, giving reasons for their choices.
- Use digital tools to research a youth empowerment initiative and present findings to the class with a clear structure.
- Work in mixed groups to propose a feasible youth empowerment project for a selected community, identifying people, resources, and first steps.
