  2. Explain, in their own words, what sensory perception means and how it differs from simply receiving a sensation.
  3. Categorise the ten senses into internal sensations (interoception) and external sensations (exteroception) with accurate examples.
  4. Conduct a simple body assessment to test at least five of their own senses and record their observations.
  5. Discuss with peers how their sensory perceptions are shaped by their environment, culture and personal background, respecting differing views.

Managing Talk for Learning: In smaller groups, categorise sensory perceptions into internal and external sensations.
Group Work/Collaborative Learning: In convenient groups, discuss how individual sensory perception is received. Ensure learners value and work in favour of a democratic and inclusive society as different beliefs, and religious backgrounds of the learners
