Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.1.3.1.3 - Explain the need for good relationship among people of different ethnic groups.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Explain what a good relationship means in their own words.
  2. State at least three things that promote good relationships among people of different ethnic groups, such as respect, love, and friendliness.
  3. Give at least one reason why God wants people from different ethnic groups to live together peacefully.
  4. Identify their friends from other ethnic groups and describe things they like about them.
  5. Demonstrate through dramatisation at least two behaviours that show good relationships.

- Lead learners to talk about good relationships.
- Let learners talk about things that promote good relationships: comportment, respect, love, obedience, humility, friendliness, etc.
- Let learners identify their friends and say things they like about them.
- Let learners discuss in groups, the need for good relationships.
- Let groups present their findings to the class: we are people created by God to ensure peace and unity, companionship, teamwork, caring for one another, etc.
