Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.1.2.1.7 - Compare objects and numerals between 1 to 20
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Use the words “more than”, “less than”, “equal to”, “greater than” and “smaller than” to compare two numbers between 1 and 20.
- Compare two groups of objects (up to 20 objects) and state which group has more, less or the same number.
- Use the words “10 more than” and “10 less than” to describe a number between 1 and 20.
- Use the symbols “<”, “>” and “=” to compare two numerals between 1 and 20.
- Work with a partner to sort and compare number cards and objects, explaining their thinking aloud.
