Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.1.2.1.6 - Draw themselves and label the parts of the body

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  • Draw a simple full-body picture of themselves showing the head, arms, legs, and trunk
  • Label at least 5 visible body parts on their drawing (head, eyes, ears, arms, legs)
  • Label at least 2 internal body parts on their drawing (lungs and heart)
  • Write or invent a simple sentence about one body part, such as “The lungs helps us to breathe”
  • Share with a partner why one labelled body part is very important
