Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.4.1.1.2

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  • Identify at least four concrete actions that show commitment to their family.
  • Demonstrate through role-play how a committed family member participates in family programmes and activities.
  • Discuss in groups the responsibilities they have towards their family and present their findings to the class.
  • Explain why attending family events such as weddings, funerals and naming ceremonies is a sign of commitment.
  • Assess their own behaviour and name one new way they will show commitment to their family this week.
