Indicator: B6.2.1.1.1 - Plant trees in their communities as a civic duty
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain at least three reasons why planting trees is a civic duty, using examples from their own community.
- Describe the steps involved in planting and caring for a tree seedling, from obtaining the seedling to daily maintenance.
- Work in groups to plant tree seedlings in the school compound and assign care responsibilities.
- Record observations of their planted trees, including watering schedules, height measurements, and leaf counts.
