By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define hardware, software and networks in their own words, using examples from their school or home.
Sort a list of digital items into hardware, software or networks on a simple chart.
Explain how hardware, software and networks work together for a device to function, using a familiar example like a mobile phone.
Identify at least one network in their community and state what it is used for.
Create a simple labelled drawing showing hardware, software and a network.
