Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.1.4.1.4 - Identify technological changes in the community (e.g. Using automated irrigation for farming, eco-friendly pesticides and manure, etc.)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define technological change and give at least two examples from their own community.
Identify at least five technological changes in farming, communication, transportation, health, or trading in Ghana.
Compare an old way of doing something with its modern technological equivalent and state one benefit of the change.
Present findings about a technological change to the class, explaining what changed and how it helps people.
Sort a list of items into “old technology” and “new technology” groups with reasonable accuracy.
