Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.6.3.1.4 - Show how to find items on a page.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State at least three methods used to find items on a web page (scrolling, using the Find tool, and using hyperlinks or menus).
  2. Demonstrate how to use the Ctrl + F (or Find) command to locate a specific word or phrase on a web page.
  3. Use the browser’s Find tool to locate key information on a given webpage during a class activity.
  4. Explain when it is better to use scrolling rather than the Find tool when searching for items on a page.
  5. Present their findings to the class, showing the step-by-step process they used to locate items on a page.
