Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.1.4.1.1 - Respond to and ask questions based on stories heard

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Tell their favourite part of a story heard and give one reason for their choice.
  2. Answer at least three teacher-posed questions about characters, setting and events in a story heard.
  3. Ask at least two relevant questions beginning with “Who”, “What”, “Where” or “Why” about a story heard.
  4. Respond appropriately to a peer’s question about a story using complete sentences.
  5. Contribute to a whole-class discussion about the moral or lesson of a story.
