By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define a political party and a pressure group accurately, distinguishing between the two.
- Describe the typical structure of a political party in Ghana, from the grassroots to the national level.
- Compare and contrast the functions of political parties and pressure groups in shaping national discourse.
- Assess the role of women in the organisation and operation of political parties in Ghana.
- Analyse the relationship between political parties, pressure groups and the mass media in influencing public policy (building on Weeks 7 and 8).
