Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.3.3.LI.2 - Applying technology to develop a 21st-century career in physical education
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least five digital tools and platforms (e.g., fitness tracking apps, Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, YouTube, social media) used to build a professional career in physical education and sports excellence.
- Explain how each identified tool or platform supports a specific aspect of a physical education or sports career, such as coaching, athlete management, fitness training, or content creation.
- Apply technology by creating a simple online professional profile or portfolio draft for a chosen sports excellence pathway (e.g., coach, fitness trainer, sports journalist, athlete manager).
- Work collaboratively in groups to research a sports career pathway using ICT tools and present findings in a short PowerPoint presentation.
- Demonstrate awareness of digital professionalism, including safe online behaviour and positive digital footprint, when developing career profiles.
